Delete a background
Ok this is a simple way to delete the background in fireworks.1. Click on the selection tool in your tool bar
2. Hover over the back ground which you want to remove
3. Click it and it show be like below
4. Then press delete and when your done it should end up like this
The above is the image with no background.

i use animagic for this and make it trasparent but it seems like this one is more easy..

Nice i sometimes use background eraser tool but your method is better
