I would recommend if you use VARCHAR in the database use TEXT instead, TEXT is more up to date to use, if you want to have more then 225 characters :)

Well what I did is changed the posts varchar (255) to

MEDIUMTEXT and now I can basicly put as many characters as I want! :D
