Hello, this tutorial is too big for a page like this. So, I made .zip file and added all necessary files.

If you follow the instructions carefully, your forum should look like this:

Download the tutorial: https://cookyx.com/user2/forum_v2.zip

You will need:
avatar.php

Also, I have made a few modification to a few add-ons for this forum to work. If you don't have them, it's ok, you will be creating them anyway.

nice protection.

i found a comment in your code that said:
if(mysql_num_rows($check) == 0){ //haha not found

nice way to explain what that code does.

overall, this isn't that great, sorry to be negative, but if you turn on error reporting E_ALL im sure you'll find tons of errors, i've already counted four that would have been picked up by error reporting.

Dude, its just missing the "if not found" write a "post id not found". I could it, but I was pressed with time.

I did not say this was great. People wanted me to relase it, and yes almost everything has errors. No software is completely 100% free of ANY kind of bugs.

Also, the "haha not found" and other comments were not marked by me. I used them as an add-on and didn't bother taking them off.

UrbanTwitch I must give you credit, your forums are outstanding from the old. I was using it too it was REAL buggy I tried opeing it all up you saw it remember? I gave up of ur forum Its too buggy, when I added error_reporting there was at least 100 errors pusing my tables and messing up my page. I could not even see topics. I had to restart and code everything again. However That was not ur fault. Still your forum is REAL good.

I've downloaded but haven't even bothered to look at it yet. Been busy setting up an mIRC server along with a bot to go along with it and gathering different API codes for my site.

Right Vic. This release, while it includes bugs, does not include physical bugs.

@Shadow: I've always wanted to make my own mIRC Bot. :P Or IRC Bot for that matter. :D

Don't mean to be erm negative buti tested the forum see how good it is.

I understand it is just the basics which is great for people work on and learn themselves..

But you could of included all the sql needed for no errors, plus i got errors upoading the sql file due to ';' being missing in places.

And forum.php i scanned over 2344 lines?

Surely you could of cut that back, and tidy the code up abit?

It has no security at all?

Any nice share, maybe fix bugs for less experienced users?

I agree. I would has posted my forums, but I starting converting that to OOP, I am not sure if it would work now.

but not everyone can code OOP so i guess for the people who cant will just stick with this php forum
