Water-ish Wallpaper

To start off this tutorial you will need to open Adobe Photoshop and create a new document( CTRL + N ) Normally i go with 500 by 500 or 1000 by 1000, Normally you would want to go with 800 x 600 for a regular wallpaper. You will want to start off with your background color as Black( #000000 ) If you get a background layer you can convert it to Layout 0 by double clicking on it Just say Okay.

Step 1
With your background set and you colors set to default ( Click d to set them to default ) we can now begin by going to Filter > Render > Lens Flare. Leave it at the default settings. What you will want to do is get it to look like the below example.

After you have it like that the next thing you want to do is go to: Filter > Sketch > Chrome. Leave it for default settings and all that then just click Okay.
You will end up with something like this:

You have your chromed lens flares next we want to add coloring.

Hit CTRL + U On your keyboard and apply the following settings.

Now right click on that layer and click 'Duplicate Layer' Then change its properties to Color Dodge To get the final result as shown below. You don't have to use that color you can definitely use others.
